Does it keep the tables and the columns?
Yes — that is the part this page is about. A PDF is exported through a real Word exporter first, so paragraphs reflow, tables come back as tables and a two-column page stays two columns. What you get is an editable document, not a page of text boxes you cannot move.
Can it convert a scanned PDF?
Yes, and you do not have to ask. Every PDF is checked for a text layer, and one that has none is read with text recognition first and then converted. Most free converters charge for that or hand you a page of images.
How big can my file be?
Up to 10 MB per file. That is the conversion limit for everyone, paying accounts included — conversion runs on a different, heavier pipeline than the rest of the product, and the ceiling is what keeps it fast for everybody.
Is there a page limit?
A PDF longer than 20 pages is converted up to its first 20 pages, and the result says so — a paying account gets 100. It is not rejected and nothing is silently dropped. Translation and redaction have their own separate limits.
Do you watermark the result?
No. There is no watermark on a converted file at any account level.
Do I need an account?
No. Your first conversion runs without signing up. An account keeps the conversation, so you can come back to the file and carry on working on it later.
My PDF is locked — will that work?
Usually, yes. Restricted PDFs — the kind that will not let you select or copy the text — are unlocked automatically before conversion. A PDF that needs a password just to open it is a different thing, and that one we cannot open for you.
What else can it do with the file afterwards?
Anything you can describe. The converted document stays in the same conversation, so you can translate it, redact the names in it, summarise it or rewrite a section without uploading anything again. Edit the sentence above the Run button and ask.
